I have been reading bout Tampo, Lover's Quarrel (LQ), being too sensitive and so on... and I thought I would like to take this opportunity to post this message for my fiance to be able to read stuffs like that (haha for future reference).

I look forward to see your views on this topic, anything that an American needs to know about Filipina (aside from we are unique and beautiful in our own special way) :P

Some crazy stuffs from being MATAMPUHIN (oh if you will be able to explain that for my fiance I would really appreciate as he is clueless about that matter). I am hoping that this topic might help some men who are having a hard time understanding Filipina women...

Please, Filipina women and American men has equal rights on this discussion, I just want to talk about these stuffs on a lighter note.

I must admit that I am a little crazy at times when I just want to be crazy without any specific reason, just to get his attention (well yeah that is totally crazy haha). Then when everything goes bad I will be crazy again just for him to ignore me... and we will end up laughing and he will tell me I am crazy haha!

Wow this topic will be in favor to my fiance (at least he gets a day off here haha)

During the first months of us (my then fiance and I) being together, I used to be so sensitive, childish, unreasonable and liked to pout if I didn't get things my way. Even after we got married, I still had those mood swings, occasional pouting and every now and then, some cold shoulders whenever I felt like it. Eventually, I have learned that it's not healthy. And that if there's misunderstanding or disagreements, we should talk it over instead of getting upset and keeping it to myself until we're both pissed. It takes a lot of adjustments for both of us. I still get upset every now and then but only if it's proper to feel that way. I don't take little silly things personally anymore as what my husband told me. He also said if something bothers me, speak up and we'll talk about it. I can say that our relationship/marriage is so much better now, no more pouting, no more silent treatments, no more long face. Marriage helped me become a more mature person with healthy outlook in life. I still get so quiet sometimes especially if I'm trying to get over homesickness. But my husband has learned to understand it and instead of pushing me by asking "what's wrong" on and on, he gives me some space until I'm out of it. After that, we talk about it.
