Well this guy is offering a competing computer model - as I said from my layman's reading of the article - the guy isn't disavowing GW as much as offering his own interpretation as to how warming will affect tropical storms.

In direct opposition to the "consensus". That is heresy to the GW scientists. That is why he will get slapped down. dissent isn't allowed in this argument, remember?

No kidding. Plus I am still trying to find these religious GW fanatics Gary points to in every other GW thread. If anything, I think its rather fanatical to have a conclusion before even understanding the basic research behind these studies but... oh well.
