I agree the people who answer phones are only following directions from managers who are following directions,,etc.,etc. I wouldn't give the guys answering the phones a hard time since their jobs have little if any effect on our processing times. Maybe calling, emailing and mailing your elected representatives might help some. In the end, I think we will just have to wait it out and hope (and pray if you are religious) this or the next administration doesn't do anything to delay our applications any further. The worst part of this waiting is the lack of information. Hearing my wife's beautiful voice each day makes it easier to endure.

okay, so given all this i have a question. lets say that vsc truly is just sitting on the k3 petitions and the 180 day sla is approaching for some of us, what would be the next steps? calling vsc and talking to an officer, or contacting your state's representative? vsc received my i-130 petition on december 19th - so it has already been 6 months since the petition was recieved by them, but my NOA1 date was Feb 1st. do i go off of the NOA1 date or the date they received my petition? i am ready to make some phone calls, whether it is to congressman or to vsc.

it is absolutely absurd what we - those who filed at vsc - are going through!!

There has got to be a reason of why VSC is only processing K1, and why CSC is processing K3 petitions as early as March. But sad part is nobody is saying why its being done like this.

I know the feeling, I can't concentrate at work, nor I cant focus to take my U.S. Cusotms broker exam in October. This test is harder to pass then the bar exam for a lawyer.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.
