Yup......I agree with Ganja, leaning is much better. I can't even being to imagine what I'd do or what would happen if I saw a man dancing like this in the club! I am jealous though.....I want my hips to move like that!

I have seen guys dancing like this except they are puerto ricans....I dont know what it with me and discos. If I see a guy like spinning around and gyrating , I get a little weirded out.

I like the one with the women dancing better. I was just thinking how they all look the same being thin with long dark hair. Then I was thinking how they are the equivalent to our blond haired barbies here.

My Husband wouldn't let me in a millions years do this kind of dance in public. When I did take a belly dancing class here though it was my first time ever for a dance class and I was so sore afterwards I didn't go back. I still like to watch it though and dream about moving like that. Maybe when I am more in shape I'll give it a shot again? Although he did tell me no public shows. I'm not that good anyways.

I took a few belly dancing lessons a long time ago and as I remember it was FUN - but a real workout. I remember after class I would be walking home and my posture would be better than it's ever been. I still remember some of the moves, how to play the zills etc. and should probably get back into it but I know I will be sore at first. Hula is a lot of fun too - everyone(boys and girls) in Hawaii learns it in school preparing for the May Day pageants.

That's actually Yousry Sharif (based in NYC). His wife, Nourhan, is also an amazing dancer. They hold regular classes and workshops in their Manhattan studio. I'm particularly fond of Nourhan's style.... she is a beautiful dancer.
