We're gonna have a busy day with the bloodbank tomorrow, expecting 400 donors

Get your motor running and head on down to the 9th Annual Tony Borowicz Memorial Blood Drive and donate to save a life.

Harley Owner’s Group (H.O.G.) invites you to help save lives on Saturday, May 6, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Victoria Harley-Davidson store, 608 N. Moody. Each donor will receive a H.O.G blood drive T-shirt. All donors will also receive BBQ sandwich, mini-physical, and refreshments.

Hope you have a good turnout since it is for such a worthy cause.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I don't do plain whole blood... I do a triple split donation of platelets plasma and red blood... at the SE Michigan Red Cross.. I have to dedicate an entire day of rest after because I just get sick and woozy... but it's worth it... I may suffer for a day but the people who need the blood are suffering much more than I am... Thunderstorms in the morning may be the cause of a lower turn-out than last year's, but when my shift ended around 3 pm we had some 250 units drawn :)

Thank y'all who donate!!! You're doing a great job!

Wow, smokin Hogs Silvy!!! :) PS...I love your av..hahaha..and I see you have a link in your siggy..so, what got you so into volunteering for this, etc anyway? It's a GREAT thing..I try to do it when I can..also involved every year with the Relay for Life for the ACS because my mom (and MANY members of my family) have had cancer. Is there a special reason you do this? Whatever the reason, it's great!!! :) M.

wow seriously?

i went to this party when i was like 10...the wife later found out she had contracted hepatites from a restaurant she went to...anyways, everyone from the party (like 200 people) had to go get some kind of vaccination shot

Supposedly, because of this, I can't donate. Wish someone would have told me that before I started donating blood....Seriously, it's quite an ordeal to get blood from me, but ever since my Nanny rec'd transfusions that at the time, saved her life, I started donating.
