I have no idea what that is meant to mean. There is some great talk radio, but there are very few 'talk shows' that merit more than passing interest no matter what part of the political spectrum the host hails from.

Yes I do. I presume by 'talk shows' you are referring to those shows where a host pontificates on his/her pet peeves and listeners are invited to stroke the host's ego. I prefer talk radio that has a structure and a point.

Cool. We all prefer different things. And thanks to the free market, we can (At least we're not like those sad sacks in Canada that require a certain percentage of Canadian programing).

I work in the day so I don't listen to Rush too often. Plus I have XM so I listen to music too. I didn't have a TV for 2 years so I listened to the radio a lot.

I just think there are people that never give a radio host a shot and judge them on sound bites. How close minded.

I enjoy Imus during my morning commute.

Of course, Imus isn't 'talk radio' in the sense of Rush or Savage.
