I don't think Bush's problems stem from his not being an 'adult' - that's just weird. However, I am coming to the conclusion that American politics is very 'theatrical'.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

It just happens that this time - the star of the show is an over made-up pantomime dame ;)

Such an adult comment. He should be proud.

Are you suddenly losing your sense of humor? I thought this statement was hilarious.

Gary's just sore because he knows the Republicans lost the White House already...from banking on Dubbya for 8 years.

With all due respect, Steven, it's not over until it's over.

:P It is for the neocons who've run this country into the ground. McCain's only chance of winning is if he can convince enough Americans that he's not another Bush...so far he's done the opposite.

I don't think McCain has an excellent chance of winning, but there is a chance. One reason I feel is because some people may be too fed up with the whole Obama/Clinton thing by then to want to vote for either of them.

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

What matters most to Americans right now are the real issues - the economy and the war in Iraq. So far the Republicans have to big F's in those categories.

I am not at all sure that everyone wants the troops to be pulled out of Iraq willy nilly, which is one aspect of the Dem policy I just don't agree with.

As for the economy, well whoever can convince the American public that it can be fixed to suit them will do best.

Actually, no. He might win by default if the other team screws up badly - which is sort of what happened in 2004.
