Has anyone ever received TWO NOA1 receipts in the mail???

Just wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this: I received TWO NOA1 documents (I-797C form) in the mail with completely identical information, including the same receipt number, but one has a Notice Date of March 31 and the other is April 1... Do you think this would have any undesired affect on my case at all? Should I call them to find out why this happened? Or maybe there's no need for concern...

Anyway, if anyone has any advice or has also received two NOA1s, please let me know if you did anything about it. Thanks!

Our case is a little different as we received 2 NOA1's with different case numbers on them! The people on the phones at USCIS weren't really equipped to deal with this and told us we had to make an info pass appointment in order to get further info.

I wouldn't have thought that you have any problems. The letters are automated so its probably just an admin error. If your super worried about it you could always arrange for an info pass just to clarify the situation.

Best Wishes

Nothing to be concerned about, perhaps your I-129F was being received at the end of the day, Mar 31, and the receiver partly logged it and generated the first letter, then the next morning still had the petition sitting there, and just received it again generating another letter.

Everything matches so don't worry about it.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

I had the same info on mine; the only difference was the date. I think there is nothing to be worried about.
