Will the B1/B2 Visa be revoked if you apply for a K1?

Hi everyone! I am new to VJ and I was wondering if you would know where I can actually find information or advise. I have an existing B1/B2 Visa. If my fiance files for a K1 for me, will my B1/B2 Visa get revoked while the K1 is under process? I don't care if they cancel it after my K1 is approved. I guess my concern is, I would like to keep seeing my Fiance before we eventually get married after the K1 is approved. I tried calling the National Visa Center but it's all a series of recorded messages. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

your valid tourist visa will remain valid... check threads history about travel during the K-1 process

Emmett Fitz-Hume: I'm sorry I'm late, I had to attend the reading of a will. I had to stay till the very end, and I found out I received nothing... broke my arm.

Ur B1/B2 visa won't be revoked while K1 is pending, u can still visit ur fiance if u want. I have a pending K1 and a valid B1/B2 visas and i just went to see my fiance recently. The border protection officers just pay particular attention to u when u fly there :)

 like others have said, you can still use your B1/B2 while waiting for the K-1.

I had a tourist visa when we sent our I-129F and it expired shortly after. We were unsure about the possibilities of getting a new tourist visa, while the K-1 was processing, but we finally decided that we were going to give it a try applying for a new tourist visa (it was my third one) and to my surprise I was granted a new B1/B2 with a 10 year validity! I've heard that it will be cancelled at the K-1 interview.. but that really does not matter, all I wanted was to visit my fiance for Christmas.

Like Smallz says, you might be asked more questions at the POE next time you enter the U.S. but its worth it!
