I have no savings or assets ,and I'm worried about filing the I-134 .I will have to use only my tax records for the most resent year of 24,000 as self employed and put (none) for savings or assets,I really don't have anyone who can cosponser ,do you think my fiancee will be denied for this reason? has anyone every filed and got aproved with near minimum requirements for support.

Every thing else I am sure is good ,I have good proof of meeting ,and a long courtship.

I used Apex visa service and the guy helped with the petition ,he had me send him my imformation and he filled out the papers and had me check it,I found a mistake and he corrected it,now that my petition is approved he only sends me links to goverment sites that have the forms for download,he has no interest in doing any more forms for me or even answering my questions,he acts like it's a big bother to him to answer questions, what a scam he is running,900.00 bucks to send links and do one paper and make mistakes ,its just the same as doing this all myself.

thanks for any advice .

If your income is sufficient and well documented, you can simply skip all portions of the form that refer to assets. You need not declare they are zero. If it's just the two of you, the income is over the minimum requirement.

Hey lenesman.

I'm sorry you had bad luck with the visa service. That does suck. But now you're looking into it and it's good that you found this site. Really you're going to find that the whole process isn't that bad at all.

Like pushbrk said, if you don't have any dependents than $24,000 salary is plenty enough over the minimum limit. You don't even need to show any assets or savings with that; just your salary will satisfy them.

Really they're not that strict or scrutinizing with these petitions, in what I've seen. They're clear and straightforward about what the requirements are in the instructions. Beyond that, they have to have a pretty good reason to deny a petition or even call it into question (other than routine 'whoops you left this out' RFEs). I think the percentage of actual denials is well less than 1%.

Good luck :)

Sounds like a scam to me, too. I always turn it around ask if the guy will send me $900 to fill out a form and send him a bunch of links. When I was looking for a job some website asked to send them money for job leads. I told them to send the cash and I'll send them the leads. Getting free government info then selling it is an old scam. It might be ok if you had money to burn and they had great service but doesn't seem to be the case here.

Yes I will let it play out for now to be sure ,but after I'm done with the visa process I plan to write him a letter of complaint and report him to the better business bureau,I feel better now that someone has directed me to this site were nice people to help with questions
