Snow is very pretty.

That's about all it has going for it, though :P

Luz loves it. She just wishes she could have it with warmer weather.

;) I love to look at it too. Hate doing everything else with it around, though.

Good thing is, so far we haven't had one major snowfall this year. It's kinda weird but nice.

We have had snow on the ground more than 80% of the time this winter. Very strange.

How about the southwest - AZ, CO, UT, NM, etc.? Those seem decent.

Salt Lake City is meant to be growing, good quality of life, good opportunities, etc and is really beautiful. Probably not the place to move to if you enjoy boozing, however.

It's all about the pacific northwest. Cheap housing, still on a coast, nice weather except the rain... what more could you want?

lotsa snow here too. so far i've seen:

- coldest winter in the 6 years i've been here.

- most snow at one time (this past tuesday night - 7.25")

- most snow fall cumulative

- most and heaviest ice storms

still looking for that global warming.

Current weather fluctuation's only count if it reinforces the GW believers hand. Otherwise it's dismissed. Remember the GW pronouncements after Katrina? But lets not turn this into a GW thread shall we?

Charles, you live in KC? It's definitely been a brutal winter compared to some of the more recent ones. My wife got here just in time for the winter...coming from a place where 50 degrees is bitter cold, it's been quite a shock to her.
