Read on ASAWA SPOUSE EXPERIENCES that you fill the 'DO NOT WRITE BELOW THIS LINE' SECTION.

Is this true? Also I have a 6:30 interview appt., what would be a recommended time to get to USEM?

The instructions from the London Embassy packet 3 says very clearly not to sign DS-156, so we didn't.

For the DS-156K we followed the instructions and did not write in that section...it says the consular officer will assist you...so we are going to let them assist us. ;)

Below is a link tothe VJ sample of form DS-156K...the 'DO NOT WRITE BELOW THIS LINE' SECTION has been left blank.

Perhaps someone from the regional forums can best answer you question about when you should arrive at the embassy.

To be clear "Do not write below this line." means exactly that. Do NOT do it. It does not mean, "you don't have to."
