They believe this because many of the ancient artifacts- Stonehenge and the Great Pyramids for example seem to involve technology that is far too advanced and precise to have been performed by the people who lived in the era commonly associated with their construction.

As soon as anyone lays out this as part of their argument I know it's full of shite. There is no reason to suppose that these peoples were not working perfectly within their technological capablities.

Oh, come on now... we all know it was the work of aliens! :alien:

As soon as anyone lays out this as part of their argument I know it's full of shite. There is no reason to suppose that these peoples were not working perfectly within their technological capablities.

I've heard of some pretty out there scientists (the ones who write books about Atlantis and Mu Thulan) making claims like that.

All that seems to be commonly agreed upon is that each of those ancient civilizations (the Druids less so than the Egyptians or Mayans) had a sophisticated understanding of astronomy, though obviously nothing like what we have today.

If we knew for sure that would happen (and by ''the world'' i'm sure they mean planet Earth) we would sell everything we have, move to a beach in Brazil, spend all day doing nothing, well, we'd still need some money, we could like sell coconut water at the beach or something like that. Charles could go fishing, I'd definitely never go to the gym again, instead i'd walk at the beach, barefoot, feeling what nature has to offer.
