Olga went to the interview on the 31st of January. She was only asked 3 questions; 1. Did you use a marriage broker? 2. What does your fiance do for a living? 3. Why do you love your fiance? As long as paperwork is done correctly and all of the requirements are met, I think the interview is smooth sailing. Olga received her visa in the mail 6 days later. Now, my Babyduck will be on her way here on the 13th. After 9 loooong months, I am about to go crazy with anticipation.

For anyone stressing about the interview, try not to stress. It is the last of the formalities before the visa is issued. Good luck to everyone!

Awesome! Congratulations!!! Thanks for sharing how the interview went.

Thanks, Don E. :) I see you just recently submitted your I-129F. There will be times that it seems like USCIS are dragging their feet. It is a long process, but the time creeps along steadily. Have patience, be thorough and organized with the paperwork (cuts down on processing time) and get everything in order in daily life. Once the paperwork makes it to Russia, you may call the Embassy for a small fee and ask questions. I think they hate me now. :) I waited until I had enough questions to keep them on their toes for about a half hour before I called. US citizens are charged per call, regardless of call duration; Russian citizens are charged per minute. Good luck! Don't sweat the interview. The two of you will be together before you know it. :)

I certainly hope Natasha's interview goes as smoothly! She has all of her ducks, she just has to put them in a row at the interview. CONGRATULATIONS!

Thanks, KGSodie! Nothing to worry about with interview if you are thorough. They hardly even look at the paperwork at that point. They kept very little of the duplicate package that Olga took with her to the interview.

If you have to decide on where to stay while in Moscow, I stayed at an apartment on the Garden Ring. It is close to the Embassy, Tverskaya Ulitsa and Red Square. Just next to the apartment you will find a bank that is hassle free and a grocery store with good bread and high prices :) . The apartment also has broadband internet. Vladimir, the main contact, lives next door and is EXTREMELY helpful. He is an interesting person, dances at the Bolshoi Theater and is very friendly.

Apt No. 246
