APPROVED FINALLY

We received the approval for our I-130 yesterday. We filed through Vermont back on August 14 and finally received our NOA1 on December 21. We were not able to access our I-130 case number online until this morning and the notice said "We mailed approval on 2/4/2008."

We also filed the I-129f. Yesterday, there was a touch and today there was another touch. I am suspecting that they will approve the I-129f today.

I am sorry for everyone that is still waiting and my apologies for anyone who was previously offended by a post I created earlier regarding later approvals. I was just so concerned because we had been waiting longer and the whole process was really getting to me.

I know now not to overreact to someone else's good news because good news might just be around the corner.

Ok, so I'm confused. You just got your NOA2 for your I130, but you want to go back and get and get your I129f approved...which you just sent in yesterday. won't that approval take forever? You state that it should get approved today after you just mailed it yesterday....is that correct? I am confused as to which visa you are trying to get. it obviously seems your CR1 will get done faster since you already have NOA1. So why go back to USCIS and wait for the I129F?

Okay, sorry for confusing anyone.

We filed our I-129f back on September 18 after we filed our I-130. I did not just send it in yesterday -- I was merely stating that we had "touches" the alst several days. I don't care which visa we get as long as this process is over soon.

I suspect that our I-129f will be approved today, they will hold our I-130 at the NVC for adjusting here in the States and we will have to pay the additional fees for adjust status.

Or else -- another scenario -- since the I-130 was approved yesterday, they could throw the I-129f out the door this week. Who knows.

But in any event, from a personal standpoint, we don't care which way we go. That is our preference -- whichever way is faster.

Congrats Dodson!!! I think we received our NOA1s for I-130 around the same time but I did not file my I-129F until like Oct 22. I think mine will take another month or two. Anyhow, congrats again!!!!

Ah! Now I understand, thanks  . I would love to be outta USCIS and in NVC right now. I haven't sent in for K3 cause my jamaica embassy is super slow so the interview would take forever anyway K3 or CR1

Yes, to all of you, we are very excited. However, I want this excitement to roll over to the rest of you and I will admit I feel guilty because I always like to play the game fair and this is just not fair when we have been approved when so many others are waiting.

However, I am praying that everything goes well because I am pregnant and my baby is due at the end of May and I just want this to be over. Maybe God was looking out for me and my baby.
