Being forced to pay support?

I was reading a post in another forum about about having to support the SO after getting a divorce. Has anyone in this forum been forced to abide by the 125% of poverty thing in supporting their spouse? If not, what was different from these cases?

There has been 1 or 2 court cases that the judge interpreted the I-864 that way, but I believe the case is being or has been overturned.

I-864 only stipulates that the US citizen repay the government any means tested benefits that the immigrant may get from the government, NOT for the US Citizen to support the immigrant at 125%.

Some reading about the cases.

I thought so too until I started reading the posts from the other thread. I am just curious to know if anyone had been obligated to abide by it yet
