What other evidence of a bonafide relationship do you have? Personally I do not put much faith in these documents but that is just me. These affadavits from friends are not required but are simply a suggestion of what you could possibly use.

YMMV

the thing is that I've benn in Ukraine since November 2006 and my husband couldn't come to Ukraine to visit me (for a few reasons) and I worry about that fact

what I have is

a bank statement with our names for October 2007 ($700 )

skype calls (since June 2007) because he called from calling cards before

ICQ chats

Few e-mails

pictures fom my Bith day in 2006

pictures from our trip to Las Vegas in May 2006

few more pictures (we have a lot of pictures but not many of them together usually we took pics of each other)

western union money transfers

2-3 postcards but no envelopes a friend of mine who lives in NYC comes to Ukraine to visit her parents every 6 month brought me cards presents and money from my husband

that's all

The only evidence I used to send with the I-130 was my marriage certificate and two affidavits from my sister and mom. That's all we needed to get approved.

If you want I can send you 2 sample affidavits I have on file so you can use them. Just send me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll e-mail them to you.

I think you will find the Kyiv consulate very reasonable.... Whatever evidence you decide to provide make sure it is organized.... They like that very much...

i also heard that kiev embassy likes it organized. i have an interview in few days (mon, feb4) and i just put everything in a big folder, got it separated by subjects - application forms, affidavit with the copies, then evidence of ongoing relationships, pics, etc.

about the letter of support, my fiance sent me two - one from his parents, and one from his brother and the wife. i did the same - i have one from my parents and one from my sister and my brother in law. that's it! i don't think that it's that important though.

good luck:)!

organized is when you have everything nice and neat seperated into group in different folders or in its own clear sheet cover... just dont throw everything into a bag and have to dig for it when they ask//// if they ask you should be able to flip open a folder and say here you go sir or madame good luck you will be fine

I was wondering if you could please help me with the sample affidavits you have from your mom and sister when you filed the I-130. I was thinking those letters could really be useful and if they helped you they can most likely help me with my case. I appreciate your cooperation you have done to the forum, most of your posts are very useful.
