And that of course was my intention from the beginning!!

Cheers to those that were actually trying to help and not preaching at me about their ideas of how my marriage should be. I thought that it might be a black or white answer but it turns out it couldn't have been more grey...so my appologies for that.

Waiting until you live together to co-mingle resources seems a bit light on the proof of a real marriage to me. Is she on your insurance? Are you on hers? How about beneficiaries on your policies? That sort of thing?

Without living together and without tying your economics together it makes it a lot less convincing that this is a real marriage. And that's what you have to prove. If I were you, I'd start mixing finances right now. Get on each other's accounts.
