Foreign Earned Income Exclusion - From 2555

Hey, for all of you who will be filing 2007 taxes with your foreign spouses…Turbo Tax can handle international tax issues.

If you meet certain requirements, you may qualify for the foreign earned income and foreign housing exclusions and the foreign housing deduction.

You will most likely be worse off filing as married-separately.

True enough, you must claim your spouse’s world-wide income, but you may be able to exclude up to $85,700 of income earned during the tax year.

Check out the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion on the IRS website!
