Why so few NOA2s in January??

OK, I know there is no rhyme or reason to much of what happens, and please forgive me for whining, but what´s up with the California Service Center right now? There were well over 100 NOA2s in both November and December, but so far only 29 for January! Right when my date is getting close, they all but stop processing. Is there a reason for this? Maybe my question is rhetorical, but I feel the need to vent and want to know if anyone has any insight. I´m in Peru with my fiancee right now and we are realizing that we are not going to be together again for much longer than we had anticipated, even with the additional 2 month cushion I had added on in my head for possible delays. It´s devastating. :(

Hi, understand your frustration, that's true, the process is going very slow now, especially in CSC, we could tell from the timeline statistics, the average time to NOA2 is around 180 days in CSC than in VSC 121 days.that's almost 2months. the updating in CSC is very slow, no any movement, that totally sucks...
