Our consumer reporter on our local news station gave this link to a website for dieting that's free. So far it looks rather interesting...you can prowl around the site as a guest before deciding to register. It has several popular diets, recipes, and you can look for friends (or have friends sign up) so you can diet together...or make new friends. A couple of girls at work are doing this so I think I'll prowl a bit and see what all there is to it. The thing that attracts me is that it's free...I can't afford Weight Watchers nor NutriSystems, Jenny Craig, or any of those other programs.

I, for one, like to progress I've made when I'm exercising. Keeps me motivated and lets me see I've come a long way!

There is a free, online, exercise log that you can use:

Thanks! I'm still working my butt off though. I've got another 50 left to go, but it's taking time. This whole process and stress doesn't make it any easier, that's for sure!

I don't believe in diets. I'd never have lost this weight on a diet. With Sparkpeople I eat what I want, including the "bad" stuff but I do it in moderation. The website lets me track my calories and exercise, water intake, all that fun stuff. Plus the message boards are great. They offer some super motivation for the times when we get down on ourselves.

I honestly believe the word "diet" has been severely overused in recent years....and I guess to me, when I think "diet" I think changes in my diet. One reason I thought the links I posted would be neat is they're free...and many of us can't afford to do the NutriSystem, Weight Watchers, or Jenny Craig programs. I like that I can track my weight, calorie intake, and exercise without having to pay someone. :)

exercise > diets :P

Um...that's what this thread was about?

From what i see, its just people posting links to diets and different diet sites and their experiences with them. i dont see someone posting work out routines or anything. thats why I am/was stating exercise if accompanied by proper nutrients > all diets

So...post one then :) Work out routines are just as welcome. If you have one that you think is beneficial, why not share it?

Fine sister, just cuz you asked 4 it. Len's workout routine:

1. Click

2. Type

3. Click

Repeat as needed and pass the munchies

I heartily recommend this workout routine, it's given me the physique that I have today. I have not been paid for this endorsement.
