jp you are smart to be careful. When I was pregnant with my 11 yr old I gained 50 pounds. I went on weight watchers two weeks after coming home from the hospital. Unfortunately that was shortlived (or fortunately I should say) since when she was 2 1/2 mos old I found out I was pregnant again BUT the doctor told me not to go off of WW entirely but that they had a pregnancy plan. I followed it somewhat and then lost interest.

In the beginning it wasn't so bad but once you hit around 5 months the willpower (for me) got chucked out the window!!!

For my first though I just thought it would melt off magically once the baby was born. I will never forget getting home and trying on my jeans that fit me before pregnancy. My ex just *looked* at me like ####### are you trying to prove you just had a c-section 4 days ago!! lol

Well since my parents both have diabetes, I'm a high risk for getting it. So I can't gain alot or eat alot of sweets. Unfortunatly no donuts for me...

Awwww, bless. Ill put one in the special zippy bag to save for you until after baby JP is born. Im one of the luckier ones. Diabetes runs in both sides of my family, but so far Ive managed to steer clear of it. Ive also kept my weight gain down (only gained 7 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight), but I think that's more to being sick for 2/3 of the pregnancy rather than being a super-healthy eater.

I do have some healthy cravings, though. I can polish off half a gallon of milk in a day. And I drink enough fruit juice to float a battleship. Only the good kind, though 100% juice. No HFCS for this lil mama.

By the by, JP... are you hoping for boy or girl?

And another thing.... how many MENA babies do we have in the chute? How many girls vs. boys?

Well my husband wants a boy, I really have no preference. I'm in my 3rd month now and I haven't gained any weight. I actually lost 3 lbs and I'm not sure why. I showed my food journal to my doctor and she said I'm eating really good and that it shouldnt be an issue. I stay away from juice because of the sugar in it, the only thing I drink right now is water. I can't stand milk. I get my dairy from yogurt and cheese. I haven't had any cravings yet, except blueberries which is good for me but I have become VERY picky. My list of dislikes is 3 times the size of what I like.

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.
