Jamaica -- Phone problems?

FYI to everyone looking for a phone fix!

McKoy bought a digicel card for $1000 today for 16 hours-- that is not enough! So he went back, bought another chip and another card-- so we have 32 hours total (which still isn't enough, but is much better!) C&W is trying to sell 4 hours to call America and 4 hours of Jamaican calling for $1000.

Did they charge him the $3,000 set up fee for another chip as well?

Anyone have any good deals for calling Jamaica? My phone bill is way out of hand. I would rather spend the money on a plane ticket!

I agree. Service and rates should and could be 100%. I'm about to duke it out with digicel when I get there in April.

Yeah we hold a Digicel and CW phone to switch up as we go thru the month. I also use STSprepaid calling cards you get online. The rate is $.10 a minute, but its rather clumsy to use at times.
