Is there a urine test for the cairo physical exam? If so, how much is it? At physical exam are we given the sealed packet then? Or does it take a few days and he has to go back to pick it up? We have lab work tomorrow, physical on the 23rd. Yeahhhhhhhhhhhh.... Any additional informtion will be helpful.

From my understanding, you will have to wait about a few days to a week, then go pick up the brown sealed envelope.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

lol I thought you meant how much urine.

The cost is included in the physical cost...it's not separated out. He should have gotten a list with the costs in his packet 3. Takes about a week to get the results.

Thank you for the information. He was told to go get lab work done tomorrow...then come for physical a week later...my understanding is they told him he'd leave with the papers since he did the lab work a week ahead...maybe this doctor is different?? Who knows....nothing seems consistant there...

That's what happened with my SO, so it sounds about right. It takes about a week to get lab work done here in the US as well. After they have the results, you go back for the rest of the physical and are given the info to take with you.

Don't forget to ask for copies of everything! I didn't tell my husband, but they gave them anyway and told him he would need it.

They gave my husband some copies of the paperwork for his records bc you will never see it again. It goes to the embassy, and then I believe into the brown envelope you recieve with your visa and give over at POE.

At least make sure to get a copy of the vaccination worksheet. You will need this for AOS or he will have to get them again when he gets here. If he has the sheet all filled out, its alot less expensive and one less thing to worry about when he gets here.
