::There’s a laugh in my eyes::

There’s a waltz in my walk

And it’s been such a long time

Since there was hope in my talk

If you never knew

What it is that’s new.. it’s you

‘Cause when your hands are in mine

You set a fire that everyone can see

And it’s burning away

Every bad memory

To tell you the truth

If it’s something new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

The world’s a different place

Where nothing’s too hard to say

And nothing’s too hard to do

Never too much to go through

To tell you the truth

Everything that’s new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

My life, my life

Ohh

So if I get to grow old (oh if I get to grow old)

With many years behind me (many years behind me)

There’s only one thing I want (aahh)

One thing I need beside me

For all that you are

For everything you do

For all that you’ve done

Just for showing me the truth

How old are you now and how long has the passport been expired, more than 5 years can not be renewed by mail.

It is not possible to renew a U.S. passport in 7 days.

More like 4 to 12 weeks.

Actually, that's not entirely true...

It depends on where you live. We're near Chicago, and a co-worker was able to go to the Chicago office, present his paperwork and pay an expedite fee, and he received his passport in 5 days. I think that's rare, though.

Just wanted to note that it IS possible; just not probable.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

I mailed mine in from Florida last month, didn't pay an expedite fee, and I had it in less than a week. But, I would still go on normal timelines. I was shocked I got mine so fast.

To the OP, I wouldn't trust that site, but that's just me. Seems a little fishy...

You shouldn't (and possibly can't, not sure) enter on your Egyptian passport because they're going to be looking for a visa, if you have dual citizenship you really need to enter the US on the US passport. You could enter Egypt on the Egyptian passport...

My passport expired & when I went to renew it, they said that because it was issued when I was a minor, it couldn't be renewed. I don't think it was expired for a great deal of time. You can get it expedited, but that's cutting it really close.

I personally wouldn't travel without it if I were you.

According to Dept. Of State:

Renewal of a U.S. Passport

You can renew by mail if: Your most recent passport is available to submit and it is not damaged; you received the passport within the past 15 years; you were over age 16 when it was issued; you still have the same name, or can legally document your name change.

As far as traveling with the Egyptian passport - Most U.S. citizens, including dual nationals, must use a U.S. passport to enter and leave the United States.

It is possible to get your passport the same day but you will have to make an appointment at the passport office that handles your state. Go to the US passport web site and it will give you the 800 # to make the appointment and will tell you have info to bring. You will have to bring proof that you are flying within a week. Proof needs to be flight itinerary or letter from emp if it’s for business purposes and then you will get your passport the same day. This is how I received my passport. I had to fly to New Orleans from Atlanta and got it the same day. So yes it can be done.

If the passport is Canadian, it may be possible still (as US and Canada at least twice floated, and delayed, the idea of requiring passports to cross the common border).

It is perfectly fine to travel with non-US passport, so long as it's only shown OUTSIDE of US (for US citizen, non-US passport CANNOT be used to enter/reenter US).

thank you everyone for your replies!!!!!!!!

yes, it is possible!! it was annoying with new years and all, because they didn't have many appointments on new year's eve and the office was closed on new years day...when i called at that point, there were no appointments left until jan 8th...but thankfully, on the night of jan 1st, i called and i guess someone cancelled there appointment for the 2nd and i'll be picking up my passport tomorrow!! woohoo!!! lol

it was a pretty easy process..a little pricey, but i didn't care..lol, actually, the woman was laughing at me because i handed her $257 instead of $157....lol...clearly i didn't care how much it cost, i just wanted it done!!!! haha...

anyway, for future reference...it is an easy process and definitely possible!! any questions--feel free to message me

thanks for your help guys!!!!! i LOVE this place!!! (L)

Happy New Year!!!
