My husband has lost his passport and has to file a police report and get a new one, but how will that look at interview? all the paperwork has his lost passport number on it. What if they delay us at interview for this? Does anyone have experience with this? The Akai house said he can take the test using a copy of the old passport but should we? or should we wait for his new one? The said he could have it by Jan

Personally, I would wait until he has the new passport before doing the medical.
