Those who just went through interview and all can you verify this information for your embassy and let me know if its correct.

For Canadians only

Canadians have to prove that they are "eligible" to be interviewed by the US Embassy in Canada.

When your interview letter asks you to bring your eligibility document this means one of the following:

If you were born in Canada, bring your birth certificate.

If you are a naturalized Canadian citizen, bring your passport.

If you are not a Canadian citizen, bring whatever authorizes you to live in Canada (usually a visa in your passport).

Jamaica

Once you receive your interview date you must register your appointment here: https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-jm/iv

DHL Registration:
Go to https://usvisa-info.com/en-jm/selfservice/ss_country_welcome
to set up the DHL process and register immigrant's passport. You'll need the case #, passport number, TRN, and standard bio information. You'll create an account with this information. Once the account is set up you'll then have to go to "Immigrant Visa" and click on the link in the 2nd bullet point and continue on.

You'll have the option to choose between DHL's Kingston or Montego Bay pick-up points. Once you have completed this step you'll take a screenshot or copy the entire page and pasted it into a Word doc, scan and email it to kingstonIVappointment@state.gov with proper email format to communicate with embassy.

India

Log in to http://www.ustraveldocs.com/into schedule appointment for biometric fingerprint and photo collection at the Offsite Facilitation Center (OFC).

Go to http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in.Create a user account, select your passport/visa pick-up location.

They put eligibility document on the doc list but they never asked for it specifically because you would already have brought your passport to the interview.

I think they like to just scare the heck out of folk. But maybe they had some issues with some folk who were trying to sneak by and act like they were a resident. ya know But thank you for verifying.

I forgot the Visa Delivery for Canada also is this correct (I thought it was Loomis).

Montreal now uses DHL to send your passport and visa back. No need to get the Xpresspost envelope that was previously required. When packet 3 arrives you will be instructed to register for DHL. You will pick the nearest location to you from a drop down menu. The waiting period varies.

It is Loomis not DHL. It says Loomis when you register for the location when registering your appointment online.

my visa is with loomis...they dont work on weekends..after i pick it up on monday..i will write a review about them...wont be a nice one...

you got notification that your visa is printed and at loomis already? man I'm still waiting. it says issued but under admin process. i guess wont know till monday.

Dwheels76 Question mate

I am the beneficiary and just got my passport renewed as I am waiting of my interview. Should I call up and let NVC know about my new passport or should I wait for the interview and tell them then and there ?
