According to the latest update systems are practically fixed, June 23rd they were able to issue 60,000 visas alone. The backlog I guess is not nearly as big as some reported, which is relieving. Also 50 posts are officially reconnected, yet the list on the bottom only names 44 for whatever reason.

Doing the math by their number it seems that the backlog was about 300,000 but the expect to pull mostly out of that in the next few days.

Beijing processed 25000 visas yesterday... dang!

Congratulations! :)

Speaking of CEAC, is anyone else stuck on 'Ready' (as in ready for interview) despite having had the interview? Do you think this may just be to do with the technological issues going on? Also it said my case was updated June 9, today it changed to updated June 23 but still says ready for interview. Anyone got any ideas?

We are stuck with that too, was told we will see that until the system glitch is completely over for your embassy

I checked about 5 times today to see if it changed from "Ready", with no luck.

My wife goes on first thing in (her) morning and saw that it changed to "Administrative Processing".

Check Again!

Status Updated Date: 17-Jun-2015

The status has been under AP since 17-Jun-2015.

Seriously everyone the link is about 15 or 20 posts back of all the consulates that are up and running.

But I think Manila wasn't on the list, and seems to be now running.
