first thing you need to do is check on the portal to see if your case is already at the embassy if it is, then call your embassy and tell them you would like to schedule an appointment via phone, and they will do it according to availability, if it says that is in transit then wait until it says ready and if it is still at the nvc, they might schedule the interview for you since your case is completed.

ok, so wait for them to give you your interview, since the case is complete they are going to forward all of your papers to the embassy and schedule you for an appointment, they do it at the end of the month or at the beginning, wait a couple of days, like next friday, and give them a call.

I submitted DS260 on 5/4/15 for my mother (India) and fedexed AOS and IV documentation same day. I got an email that they were received 5/5/15 from NVC. I keep seeing scan date in the discussions. how do we find our is scanned into their system ? When I log into CEAC site. I see N/A under AOS Documents and Civil/IV Documents .

How do we find if the documents have been scanned or not ?

The email you received from the NVC stating they received your documents on 5/5/15 means that is the scan date.

I called embassy and they said they can't do anything unless they have my case from NVC on the other hand Nvc told me they have sent everything to embassy and can't do much about my case.

scan date April, 16th, still nothing :/

last time it took them like 76 days to generate a check list, "written explanation why didn't file taxes for 2013" even though we stated that my petitioner is a full time student and the income is $0 since she was 18.

:clock:<_<

Hello everybody, ... I've noticed that people are talking about "3 N/A's" for the case to be "completed", but I've seen that one "N/A" could be under "Affidavit of Support Documents / Financial Evidence" section and second "N/A" could be under "Civil Documents". "Affidavit of Support Fee" and "IV Fee" shows "PAID" and "IV Application" shows "COMPLETED", as well as DS-261 (CHOICE OF ADDRESS AND AGENT" shows "COMPLETED". My question is: Where the 3rd "N/A" should be shown? ... under what section? ...

Waiting for an IR-1 Visa case to be completed.

Original Scan Date: March 5, 2015

Checklist Scan Date: April 23, 2015

Thank you in advance for reply.
