Does RFE for AOS stop processing of EAD and AP?

Hi Guys,

I've been searching for a straight answer for this but I just need to know.

On May 1st I was sent a request for initial evidence of an affidavit of support for my AOS (the letter was yellow). However, nothing was mentioned about the other forms I sent in with my AOS. Has the processing of my AP & EAD been stopped until they receive the information for my AOS?

Yes, the whole process is paused right now. AOS RFE is mostly for I-864, and if they don't mention specific document, you need to submit whole I-864 again along with Tax Transcripts. Don't send clumsy W2s, 1040s again because if something is missing again, they will ask for it again or even deny your AOS package.

No, they are treated as individual applications.

The prevailing opinion here is that an RFE on the I-485 or I-864 does pause all of your other, dependent, applications as well.
