AOS: What if i lost NOA2 "Approval" for I-129F needed for Form I-485.

Is this a problem?

Did you ever take any photocopies of it? You use a photocopy in the AOS packet.

However, you do need to have it so if you've completely lost it and have no copies of it, you would have to request a replacement. On the USCIS website there is a form you can file to get another copy but it costs around $400 or so.

Ive been browsing both of or emails and phones if we ever had a copy of it and we never had.

But just now I seen an email reminding me of the My Case Status online.

I checked using the Receipt Number and it shows:

Post Decision Activity

On June 18, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

I printed that, then got your reply- read it, and felt better haha! I hope the print out is okay hehe

Oh disregard what I said about filing a form, this is such good news for you.

$405 is a little ridiculous for a copy of a form.......
