So I'm gathering all required documentation for the AOS after entering on a K1. I'm planning to file for advance parole and employment authorization at the same time.

The vj guide has been immensely helpful, but I'm wondering what evidence and paperwork is required for the 756 and 131. I was trying to access the uscis instructions, but it's a dead end. My guess is I will need a picture for both. Anything else?

Thank you.

The instructions list what is required. I-131 states you need an official ID The biometrics page of your passport works for this, Proof of current status. You can use a copy of your K-1 visa and entry stamp from your passport. Also, 2 passport photos See Pages 7-9 > http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-131instr.pdf

For the I-765, you are filing as an adjustment applicant, category (c )(9 ) and you need copy of passport biometrics page as ID and 2 passport photos. See Pages 6-7 > http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-765instr.pdf

try the I-765 instead.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

That's what I meant. But every time I try accessing the instruction I get a white PDF with an error message. All other forms work fine, but this one:

But you guys just told me what I need so I'm golden. ;-)

ah - you are viewing acrobat files inside of a web-browser? EEK !

I never recommend that, instead to download the file. right click over the link, see what your options are, instead. One of them should be to save the file to disk.

This is how I did mine. I always make sure that it should be easy for them to check the file. I put the paper clip on every form and their supporting documents. No RFE. No interview. Just got my GC by mail. Thank God! :)

Employment Authorization

Original Signed Form I-765

Original signed Form G-1145

2x2 Passport Size Photos (with name and A number at the back)

Copy of Marriage Certificate

Copy of Passport with visa page and entry date

Copy of Form I-94 (front and back)

Copy of I-797C (Notice of Action)

Advance Parole

Original Signed Form I-131

* note provide and attached all the same supporting documents as I-765

Hope it helps.
