Embassy Review : the interview was good and pretty easy. we left the house 1am and we arrived at the USEM 3:30am...at 5:30am, the security guard asked us to fall in line according to our appointment time. I was the first in line til the guard called out senior citizens and pregnant women to come forward and go first...haha! then at the gate the lady checked my appt letter and DS forms and put bar code sticker at the back of my passport, after that I fell in line again to get my #, the lady at the window stapled my receipt, appt letter, my ds forms and the # together. I was #6025. after that, I was asked to go inside the USEM, I put my things on the conveyor for xray and I also passed through the xray machine for security...their security there was pretty tight...Then I was asked to drop my stapled forms at window 39. after dropping the papers I went to look for a sit then an old woman sat beside and she looked troubled. I asked what is her problem? she said I needed to fill this out and she showed me her form, but I don't have ballpen she said.I lent her my ballpen then she asked if I can fill it out for her because she having difficulty writing. So I filled out her form while waiting for my # to flash. then after maybe 20mins, my # flashed on the screen for finger printing on window 40. The american lady was nice but I gave her a hardtime on taking my finger prints because I have small fingers...she wasn't able to captured my fingers and she asked me to redo it thrice! haha...after finger printing, I went back to my sit and I waited again for another 20mins and my # flashed again for pre screening on #56. a Filipino dude asked for my NBI clearance, Certificate for no Marriage, birth certificate, I134, W2 and IRS...then he asked me few questions like who petition u? how did u met him? what year did u met him? I answered Dec 2003, and he said wow that long, how come he just petition u. I said, our feelings just developed after our first meeting which was on May 2008. then he asked when did u last see him, I said Jan 29, 2011. then he said, Oh Tommy is working at Tiffany and Co. I said yes, he is a stone setter there....he looked impressed then he asked if I brought our pictures together, I said yes and I gave him our pictures and he said, oh they are too many...I just smiled at him...then he saw my pic wearing the engagement ring Tommy made for me..he asked, is this ur engagement rinG? why aren't u wearing it. I said I took it off when I had my biometric, and I wore it in front of him and he said, oh there it is looks nice then he asked if Tommy gave me necklace too, I said not yet, he laughed. then he asked me when do I need to travel. I said no definite plan since I haven't received my visa yet then he asked if I ever applied for tourist visa, I said no...then he asked when we get married, I said perhaps a week after I arrived US..he then said, oh u really don't have plan yet huh?! I said, we cannot plan w/o the visa...haha! then he asked me to go back to my sit and wait for their call....then around 8:30am...my # flashed again and it was for the final interview on window 64...I was assigned to a nice american good looking dude...haha! I greeted him good morning and he good morning me too...then he asked me if english is okay for me I said yes, then he said very nice...then he asked me to raise my right and and swear to tell the truth...then after that, he asked for my name, date of birth, where did I met Tommy, how many times he visited me. when was the first time we met in person. when the last time I saw him, then he asked if Tommy is married, if I ever get married, if I have kids, if tommy has kids, if I ever applied for US visa, all my answers for the latter set of questions were no then he typed something on his pc...then he said let me finished to sign this first he said...I said take ur time sir...haha! then after he signed the paper, he said ur papers are okay, I think I don't need to see anything from u. ur visa is approved, wait for window 72 for final instructions then he said, I hope u are very happy now and welcome to USA...I said, yes I am, thank u very much...he said great! and we laughed...dude, if he only knew I wanted to jump and scream the on the top of my lungs! haha! then I waited for window 72 to call my #, after 5mins I got called and the lady there just told me to go home, wait for my visa and gave back my appt letter...I felt so ecstatic...my Mom was waiting for me outside..when she saw me, I told her I was disapproved..she said, I don't believe u because u took long inside, those who got disapproved already went home...haha! I'm still feeling very happy til now....Tommy too!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
