Comments : My port of Entry was fine. The CBP officer was young and it took 15 minutes of going through my documents. I was the last person and another CBP ifficer stand closer to me and was a busybody. He asked when you gonna married? I said May 7. He then said, Is it friday? My sister got married friday so its cheaper. Lol. I told him Im getting married saturday. He said, you must be a lot of money. The interview ended great and the CBP officer told me to get married within 90 days and he wishes me goodluck. :)

Comments : My AOS took a while bcoz I received RFE twice bcoz of some lacking in documents but the good thing is I'm finally approved! I am currently working too. :) My interview was so painless. It was very quick. My interviewer was very friendly and she said that some people are having interviews while others not bcoz they randomly pick who's lucky enough to be exempted from interview. It was very simple process but i needed sometime to figure out mine bcoz of our situation. I am blessed in many ways and that's the most important thing. :)

The lady said I will receive my greencard within 2 weeks. Yay!

Event Description

Embassy Review : I came for interview before 8. Everyone is sitting outside and waiting. The security guards are walking around and I greeted them all, Good Morning! :D
I fall in line for security check and it took atleast 5 minutes. Then I walk to the embassy office. I took a no. and it's lucky #008, the time is 8:11 and the date is 01-18-11. I'm just amazed with all the no. combinations. And guess what? The first counter who took all my forms and documents is No.8! Sound crazy! Isn't it? The first officer is quite serious and not smiling at all. Maybe just being professional. I was then called at window #11 for electronic finger printing. The guy here is very polite and friendly. And lastly, I was called at window #2 for interview. The girl was very nice. She asked me to raise my right and promised to tell the truth to all her questions. She asked me the following questions:
What's your name?
Who is (the name of fiance)?
Where did you meet? Tell me about.
Whats the reason of his divorce?
How old is he? and you?
Why do you love him? I answered because I love him! hehehe She said, usually if you love someone its because of one thing. Then I said I love him bcoz of his honesty. She then asked, How can you say he is honest? (I tell you the interview is very good. You wont feel nervous. It's quite fun..just be HONEST and you won't go wrong).
Do you talk to his kids? What's their interests?
Why you decide to get married in the US an not in Philippines where your family is? I answered her bcoz it's what we have decided and it where our home to be. She said still you can get married and go to the US. I answered her, if we get married in Philippines and separate again bcoz i have to go back here in Dubai and he in the US and that will be very hard for us. (i said this in sad face with feelings-she was touched. I can see it) She looked so satisfied with my answer. She then took the DS-156K and ask me to write my fiance's name and sign it. Then she took a piece of blue card that says the embassay's address, passport, date to pick up and time. I asked her what Im gonna say to my fiance about the interview and she said tell him you still have to come back and pick up the passport. I was waiting for her to tell me I am approved!!! Anyway, even without saying it. I think it's understood. :D
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
