Event Description

Embassy Review : Everything went smooth for the interview to get the K-1 visa. Our appointment was at 0730 and we went to line #3 where there was only a few people. Went through security where they make you remove you jacket, belt, cell phones, etc. They give you a list of documents and the order they need to be in, we had everything in order, thanks to all the information here at visajourney. We were directed to windows 3 and 4 where they were doing the initial interview and collecting forms, i wasn t allowed to stay with my fiance, they sent me back to the cafe iguana. My fiance was there for maybe 5 min and she was done. Then we went to Crepes and Waffles to grab a bite, maybe 15 minutes then we went to sit down and wait by cafe iguana and a few minutes later we heard my fiances name to window 2. We both went up and they started the interview, the same standard questions you see posted right here. It only lasted a few minutes they they said you are approved welcome to the usa! We were so happy and relieved it was wonderful.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
