Comments : We arrived at the embassy almost 6:00 in the morning a little later than I expected q, there he asked a security guard those q where was the line for the K1 visa and told me the first row q ... damn liar guard... q make me waste my time! and after arriving at the gate of row 1 q told me he was in the wrong line and passed to the correct row ... we like at 6:30 but a little later, at the entrance to the dividing line and entered the men first and then the women! less than 1 hr we were called by the name of my boyfriend for box 25 to deliver all the documents ... in front of us was a family a wife asked her son and husband and as he went I was arranging my guiding documents, then I know q Olympics began cold and nerves I wanted to die, and had all the documents in the order q appear in the document of appointment, all forms, letters, my W2, all the taxes .. . it is my turn my turn give all my documents and I returned their taxes, the W2 form DS 230 Part II, letter of employment, I134, finally just kept the good practice document, birth certificate, passport and questionnaire with the ds more than the 156, 156k and Part I of the DS 230, the lady asks my boyfriend his name and mine and then tell me the names of the popes of my boyfriend and asked who they are, I quickly answer their potatoes, my in-laws, and corrected immediately, I mean my future in-laws, well there gave me an 987 number, where my boyfriend and looking for some breakfast in a while we call back to square 13 to take the fingerprints, I q know a close eye on everything began to explain how to put your fingers to the tracks and the window was talking to another person and I explain to my boyfriend, there I took the tracks and ready to wait again! q know at that time my boyfriend and I took a break you closed your eyes while the other was pending at q numbers called, the moment we were called to Section 20, was a very nice Asian, other consul was talking to when we the box and immediately asked for a moment I told my boyfriend put on the counter q folder full of documents I will say it was q impressive that so many papers at the airport asked me if I studied law in the amount of paperwork was q, and photo package, he asks:
What is your name?
and I asked what he wants mine or of?
On it! gave his name and gave the DS230 form to write down my name q and signature while writing in English ask me
What's your name? I told him mine and told him I am the petitioner
q relationship to the Dominican republic?
Like living in Puerto Rico was the place where it came closer Holiday
How many times have you entered the country? 6
To see him? this April.
You have family here? NO,
When was the first time came in and when they met?
That will tell you I cannot believe I confused myself, after I have annoyed my boyfriend with dates I mistook myself for the first time I met q and q first enter the country, but to react quickly and fix it ? and I said from the first time in July 2007 and August 2007 I met my boyfriend
Have your passport?
I present a passport but like the first time I enter RD q was by ferry did not need a passport and I had struck out the birth certificate and as I was looking for me says:
You have a passport before this?
No, but I struck out the first time the birth certificate and submit it.
He goes to my boyfriend and tells
What you do for a living?
I am Stylist
And the consul quick look at me and tells me this will work well and quick laugh and I tell him he still does not work with women's hair but he will start working with mine there is no doubt
You have family in the U.S.?
If my sister and my nephew brought her husband q.
Back to contact me and tell me since you do? work with the Social Security office and submit my federal labor card
Very good green congratulations APPROVED VISA go to DOMEX to pay the shipping, I jump over to my boyfriend and I kiss him in front of the consul, I sincerely say that it does not take even 5 min these questions were super fast, both standing there in the same window, listening to all my questions made to me in English and my Spanish boyfriend, then I turn to DOMEX and I am getting the money to pay the increase and I quote say they are only $ 16 and I paid WOW! I almost run out of there! And all this was around 9:15 am I ran out there will know q to get our phones q had a place where stored and charged me $ 200 Dominican pesos q are like Americans to save $ 6 phones and Now

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
