Consulate Review: Morocco
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : December 12, 2005
Embassy Review : Let me start my review by saying I am glad we don't have to deal with this consulate again anytime soon. They responded only to my initial email by sending a FAQ about K-1 visa processing. After sitting on my husband's (then fiance's) approved petition for almost 2 months and not responding to ANY communication, I had to get my Senator's office involved. That seemed to work miracles. They responded to him, to my recent email, and even sent the packet to my loved one. I think they are overwhelmed and understaffed. The interview went ok and we were both never so happy as when he picked up the visa and we got to leave the consulate behind!
Rating : Very Poor

Local US CIS Office Review: West Palm Beach FL

Event Description
Review Date : March 16, 2006
Embassy Review : We arrived 30 minutes early to my husband's AOS interview. Even though there were more than 50 people in the waiting (looking like they were preparing for the citizenship exam), we were taken in 20 minutes before our appointment time. The interview was quick, serious, professional and painless.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
