Consulate Review: Naples, Italy

Embassy Review : Journey to Naples
We are living in Rome, so we went to Naples by train. Stayed in a beautiful little B&B, http://www.ladimoradinettuno.it, extremely close to the Consulate, it took us about 10 minutes to walk there. The B&B is super clean and the staff are very welcoming! The area is also very safe and the B&B is right next to the metro! Make time to visit the city, Naples is absolutely beautiful! As for the visa process:
Day one: The medical check-up was really smooth. Not many people there with us. All you need to bring is your vaccine list, one passport sized photo, interview letter and your passport. Be ready to spend some time waiting, we were there for about 3 hours. Afterwards, we went to the Consulate for the fingerprints and that was really fast.
Day two: Arrived at the Consulate around 7:15, not really necessary to arrive early since no one is at the gate at that time. We went in and spoke first with an employee that just reviewed that all the required documents were there. Afterwards, you have to have the interview with a consulate rep. This all took place in the same room through a window. The consulate rep just asked us a couple of questions: when and how did you meet, are you living together and if so since when.....then we were approved!!!! Very simple and fast!!!!!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
