Comments : The whole process went very smoothly.
the petition was approved before the estimated time. No problems at the NVC or the Embassy.

Zhanna's interview at Moscow lasted about 5 minutes. She was asked how we meet. How many times have we have visited each other. The CO asked to see her ring. Then asked when we intend on getting married upon her arrival into the US.

Zhanna said the CO she had her interview with was very pleasant, polite and that the interview was very enjoyable.

The I-134 was requested, Zhanna also submitted the additional I-134 for her co-sponsor. But this was not an issue during the interview.

A very positive experience through out the entire process.

Embassy Review : Zhanna said the interview lasted about 5 minutes. She also said the female CO she had was very polite and friendly. The CO asked how we met, how many times we had visited each other and when we plan to get married. The CO then asked to see photos, and her ring, then told her the visa was approved.

Zhanna said the whole experience was actually enjoyable. A very well received anti-climatic end to this process.
Rating : Very Good

Embassy Review : Biometrics appointment. No real problems, My wife went with her passport that still has her maiden name. They said she couldn't go for the Bio with her passport because we filled the I-485 out with her married name. The man then told her she could return home and get our marriage certificate and that there would be no problem. Luckily for us we only live about a half mile away from the office. Other then that in and out in about 20 mins.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
