Comments : Interview went well, she asked him several questions, normal things, like how did you meet? when was she here? does she have brothers and sisters? what are there names? why did you marry her? why do you love her? where does she work? how do you keep in contact? What is her birthday? He answered everything perfect, and the CO was not really interested in seeing additional proof, and he took a huge bound folder with him of proof (which I sent to him). CO told him everything looked nice, but....gave him back his passport and said "it will just be some time, and we will call you" My husband asked when and she said maybe 10 days, maybe a month. Gave him white 221g paper with no boxes checked, and I only found out we were in AP when I emailed the consulate to ask what the status was. So now we are just waiting...

UPDATE: May 13, 2009: the consulate called my husband and told him to send his passport, and that they would send it back to him in 1 to 2 weeks with his visa!!!!!!!!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
