Event Description

Embassy Review : On monday, I walked accross the Birdge into Juarez, got a taxi, went to the airport, picked up my finacee, Then went to the Holiday Inn express, las misiones, it was really conviently located next to conoslate. She then waited in the infomation line for 4 hours to get the inivtaction letter. She got it around 12:00. So then we just hung out the rest of the day. Went to the mall across the street, ate at denny's and other close places. Tuesday we went to the clinca medica next to the consate, where while in line a lady pulled us out and got inot a new line to go the the old clinc. This was alot better, it is not near as busy. We got onto a bus they provied and drove over.
She said they sat ina room with everybody, drew blood then spearted the men and the women. Girl docotrs checked the girls and the guy docotrs checked the cys. she said then they took her xray, and sat in a room with just a hospital gown on. They checked everything really quick and asked her if she had taken drugs, if she drinks, any mental problems. Then she put her cloths back on and got back onto the bus and it took us back to the hotel. We were done by 11:00 AM. At 3:00 we got back onto the bus and went for the results, you just sit ina room and they call you by name, tell you not to open the small envelope, and the big one is yours to keep.

On wed. my finacee went to the consolate at 7:30, there was already a HUGE line. but the guard called people with appontment letters, and we had ours to go the front. He then checked her paapers, and she got in at 8. I went back to my hotle room, then about 15 min later she came back they said that she was missing a form, one that wasnt on the webiste, but they gave her a copy, we filled it out and made two copiesright in the hotel loby. Then she had a pass to go right back inot the consolate. Then i went back up to my room and wacthed TV,. but i couldnt just sit there, so i went out and sat on the street corner liek everyone else out side the conoslate. My advie bring sunblock, and something to Rea if your gonna wait outside.

She then said that she went inot the consolate, she took a number, sat for a while, until her number came up, she said that they were not in order, then she got called up, a man checked her papaerwork, stamped it and told her to take a seat. She then got booted out with 15 others, because they were doing older people and mothers with children first. She waited outside for about 20 min then they called those that got booted out back in. SHe then sat down and they called her by name to another booth, where a amercian lady that spoke great spanish, looked ovber the paperwork, asked her, "ow did you meet." "Where does he work." and that was it, then she stamp the papaers and said your approved. My finacee was like i brought photos and lots of eveidence, but she said that we had enough on our orginail paper work.
Meanwhile i was outside about to have a ulcer and a heart attack from wating, when I see this amercian women walking down the strrett towards denny's when all the usdden she just said, "hey, I just apporved her." I just said wow, mmm then she said I reconized you from the photos." i said thanks!!! witha big smile, My finace came out a little bit later and need to pay 8.00 Dollares for the DHL because she forgot her money. So she went back in and paid, then we just waitd at the hotel for several hours.

Around 6:15 i saw on the internet that the DHL was ready!!! we rushed down to the offcie in a taxi, we were the last ones there, and we had the whole packet in our hands. We chec out the next morning, took a cab to the other side of the Birgde, and walked into the prt of entrey, She had to sit in a room fr a little whiole there, they took her fingerprints and we had to pay 6 dollars for her to enter at the Bridge in El paso. Then we walked accross picked up my car a drove back to AZ. HOOOORAY!!!! we did it, after being stuck at the NVC for a while, we finally made it and are getting married really soon. This site has been very helpful, just the little details that it has provided thanks to all!!!

Embassy Review : Well, we lined up for a appointment at 8 am. there were some people already in line, but it doesnt matter, because after you walk in you put your appoinment letter in a box and they call them at random. I was able to go in with my wife. The lady was very nice, she didnt speak any spanish but my wife speaks great english so it didnt matter. she swore us in, then ask basic questions like what is her birthday, how and when did we meet, she asked us for her ssc, and birth cerfitace, marriage cerft, and her emplyment authorixation. Then asked for some evidence and we showed her pictures, utitlyy bills, rent reciepts, she asked us how many people went to our wedding and if I had met hr family. Then she made copys of thngs and told us thatwe were apporved. So in all it was a postive expirenced. we were out by 830.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
