Embassy Review : My interview was 9am yesterday. Got there about 8.15am dropped off my mobile at the pharmacy (those guys make a lot of money). Went past security in few minutes got the I number and took a seat it took about 50minutes before my number was called to the frist window. The lady was not smiling well i greeted her then she started asking questions When are you travelling? Are you adopted? The I-134 form and supporting documents? BC, Police certificates and passport photos. Gave them to her and copies with my passport. The she put them all in a file and said take a seat and wait for your number. Went back to the waiting area and sat after another hour my number was called to window 14, met an asian american lady a bit uptight. I was so nervous cos i had been denied an F1 and B2visas so she asked me to swear.... write my fiance\\\\\\\'s name and sign. Questions...where did you meet your fiance? what country? what will you do when you get to the US? Are you getting married for immigration purposes (silly) Cos I can see you have tried to travel to the US several times and was denied. Then I got more nervous and my heart pounding. She pause and typed on a computer, stood up went to the next person\\\\\\\'s desk with my passport. When she got back she looked at me and said your visa has been approved, it\\\\\\\'ll take 2weeks to receive it and when you do, do not open the sealed envelope cos its for immigration. Go with the pink slip to the DS-secure desk and pay for delivery. Then I asked is that IT. Gosh so much for the nervous. I was out before 11am Not a bad experience better to be very organised and give all documents when asked. SO now I\\\'ll wait for the VISA and fly

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
