Comments : Still waiting for a Reaffirm or NOIR on our case it's currently at USCIS and it states they are reviewing it at this time. Not sure it's true or not but they do take their time.
Still at USCIS 03/19/2016.
Recieved Reaffirm 11/20/2017.
CEAC changed from AP to READY, two days after 3ed interview, 05/06/2019.
Arrived in the US, July 1, 2019.

Bottom line, they make their decision before you show up with the exception if you mess up.
If they are nice to you, the Visa is yours.

When we were refused they had nothing, thus the reaffirm. It's a horrible wait and only those that really love each other will survive it.

My prayers are with all of you. We are done with this part at last!

My husband became a US citizen May 28th 2023. Free from US immigration! The nightmare has finally and truly ended.

Comments : The Embassy had nothing on us, yet they made us wait forever for no reason at all. Everything they asked us to do we did it and they got tired of trying.

They were just lovely at LAX, they fixed a problem the Airline caused with my husband's name. They were just so helpful and nice. I was shocked, finally a nice immigration person.

Embassy Review : They know before you arrive if you're going to get the Visa. It's simple, if you don't mess up at the interview and their nice to you, the Visa is yours, if their mean nasty and rude like they were in our experience, your denied.

At my husbands first interview, they were just horrible, rude and condescending! They also kept his new (at the time) passport and when he was at his second interview, they returned it damaged, stapled all over. Just mean and spiteful ill mannered punks!!!?

Last interview they were very nice and helpful.
They really don't need to be mean, but we both are convinced they enjoy it.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
