POE Date : 2009-05-07
Got EAD Stamp : No
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : They messed up at Philadelphia and never took my brown envelope which meant panic on when I arrived in San Francisco. Handed it in to some rather angry people in SF. Hoping it's all sorted now, we'll wait and see.

Consulate Review: London, United Kingdom
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : April 25, 2009
Embassy Review : The long awaited interview that we all stress about was easy man. Fear nothing and don't go in there loaded with a rainforest of paperwork. Take what they ask for (with copies oviously) and anything you really feel you must take. I waited about 4 hours which was the worst part. I literally got seen for 15 mins in total from the first dude you see who takes your paperwork right up to the actual person who says yes or no. Not scary, not stressful, just plain boring waiting for your number to be called. It felt like I was waiting in the never ending cheese counter queue. My experience was pretty decent and the best thing was going to celebrate afterwards even though I had to send in additional documentation before getting my visa. DO NOT STRESS!
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
