POE Review: Miami
Event Description
Entry Date : 2008-10-23
Embassy Review : Very long wait. It was almost 3 hours after Svetlana's plane landed that she and her dog finally emerged from customs. They treated her OK, but she was disappointed that the dog was left unattended in Miami (she says during the layover in France airline personnel were always checking on the dog).

Air France handled one of her bags very roughly. It literally looked like someone attacked it with a bayonet. Her computer inside was broken, but we were able to salvage the hard drive and install it into a new computer (so she did not lose dozens of megabytes of files).
Harassment Level : Low

Local US CIS Office Review: Miami FL
Review Topic: cis_topic
Event Description
Review Date : May 9, 2009
Embassy Review : Interview scheduled for 1:45. Finally called our name at 2:30. Most questions were pretty routine, except for one of the last ones: "Do you each have house keys? Can I see them?" Then he examined the keys to make sure they were for the same lock.

They were.
Harassment Level : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
