Comments : We sent back the RFE request and then received it back gain along with a letter stating we had not paid for the K-1 Visa application. Obviously we had though and had to send back further evidence showing we had paid. Makes you wonder what kind of archaic system they have running at these service centers, very worrying. Well, had the interview and thought eveything was going well until I was asked to provide further information regarding co-sponsor. It's all sorted and we finally have the visa, right now on to the next stage!!!

POE Review: Chicago
Event Description
Entry Date : 2008-10-22
Embassy Review : Well after an 8-hour flight from Manchester got into Chicago airport absolutely knackered, more than I have ever been before! Waited in line for about an hour before seeing the immigration officer, she was very polite but unfortunately did not seem to know what she was doing! She asked "So when are you getting married", to which I replied "sometime in November", she said "thats great" and that was about it. She asked what the xray was for and I explained about having the medical, so she just stuffed it in the 'Do not open envelope'. I was expecting to be questioned about anything and everything but it never happened, but hey I'm not going to complain. I did have one scary moment though during the flight to Albuquerque, the plane hit some turbulence over the Sandia mountains and for the first time in my life I was scared whilst flying! Yes I have experienced turbulence before, but this was something different altogether, people were shreiking and being thrown all over the plane, the woman in front grabbed the woman she did not know next to her almost crying! We made it safely though, thank you God

BMI are one of the best airlines around for customer services in my opinion and I would recommend to anyone! The food was good, the inflight entertainment was good and in my opinion what matters most, the seats were comfortable.
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
