Consulate Review: Egypt
Review Topic: K3 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : July 16, 2008
Embassy Review : Ahmed arrived at the Consulate sooo early they were not even opened yet. LOL He said that a line started to form quickly and there were LOTS of people there. He sat for almost 3 1/2 hours before anyone even called him. The CO was the same man that refused to give us an Affidavit of support when we tried to marry last year. Ahmed said as soon as he saw him he was immediately nervous. He had to calm himself and say a little prayer. The CO only asked him 4 questions.... How did he meet me? How long did I stay in Egypt for the wedding? Did he know my family? and How do we communicate now. My baby answered all the questions in English and asked the CO if he wanted to see any of the 200 photos he brought and see the phone bills from November of 2007 to the present. LOL The CO said that was not necessary and he believed him. He told him congratulations and that he would receive his passport in 1 week. Ahmed said he told some of the other people waiting that they would get their passports in 2-3 weeks.

I am soo happy!!! Inshallah we will get the visa quickly and he will be with me next month!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
