Consulate Review: Mumbai, India
Review Topic: K3 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : July 15, 2008
Embassy Review : My wife arrived at the consulate at 7:00 a.m. for her 7.30 a.m. interview. However, first of all finger print was taken by consulate and then they inform her to wait for the interview. Overall my wife's experience at the Mumbai Consulate was very satisfying. She said the staff was friendly and everything went very nice. At 10:30am she - Called for interview (Oath taken)
Questions Asked: The consulate officer asked her five to six very simple questions such as spouse's name? How do you know each other? How long has it been since your marriage? Where did you go for your honeymoon? What is your father-in-law name is? Basically all questions were related to our relationship.
However, interview was tremendously easy and short. The person conducting the interview didn't even look at any of the supporting documents.I hope this will helps.
Good Luck and God Bless America.
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
