Consulate Review: London, United Kingdom
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : June 10, 2008
Embassy Review : What can I say? It was as easy as the good folk on here say it is.
Interview was at 8am. I got there for 7.40am. It was all over by 10am.
Was only asked for the usual documents. Birth Certificate, Police Report, etc.
I'm taking my son who has a different name but I was never married to his father. Had relevant documents from the HCMS Family Division stating I have sole parental responibility. Wasn't asked for any documents in relation to this. Swore on Oath. Paid the fee and that was that.
All in all a pain-free experience.
Rating : Very Good

POE Review: Chicago
Event Description
Entry Date : 2008-07-07
Embassy Review : Wow! Couldn't of been easier.
There was no line at immigration which was a blessing.
Went up to a window, the guy opened the envelopes and asked a few questions about my other half.
Reminded me about the 90 days and that was it.
Sweeet!
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
