I could never track the status of the EAD card because it never showed up in the system. I checked every day. On October 2 it suddenly appeared in the system and a message said that card production was ordered on September 30. |

We were in the back of the airplane but we were still first in line for new immigrants. It took less than ten minutes for the officer to look at the paperwork, take the digital photos and fingerprints, and clear us for entry.
